Preamble:


Gargolye Computers is a computer service company located in Austin, Texas, that provides customers with monthly computer monitoring, scanning, removal of viruses and spyware, and general remote repair and maintenance services.


The customer hereby agrees to employ Gargoyle Computers to provide continuing computer monitoring, scanning, removal of viruses and spyware, and general remote repair services for the customer.

Terms Of Agreement:


The customer agrees to employ Gargoyle Computers to provide   computer monitoring, scanning, removal of viruses and spyware, and general remote repair and maintenance services and agrees to pay Gargoyle Computers all associated fees commensurate with subscribed Level of Support.  This subscription for service shall remain in force for a minimum of three months and indefinitely thereafter until subscription is cancelled by the thirty day written notice of either the customer or Gargoyle Computers.

 Gargoyle Computers agrees to provide customer with monthly computer monitoring, scanning, removal of viruses and spyware, and general remote repair-maintenance, and limited IT support. 

Customer agrees to permit Gargoyle Computers access to their computer(s) through remote access for a period of not less than four hours per week to be arranged between the customer and technician.   Customer agrees to maintain adequate internet connection (Minimum Standard IP connection: 1 MB Download, 500K Upload, on DSL, Cable, Satellite, or faster connections.)  to enable Gargoyle Computers to properly perform their duties through remote access.

Customer agrees to release Gargoyle Computers and its employees from all liabilities relative to the performance of its service efforts.   Should the computer become inoperable or otherwise fails to be remotely repairable, the customer releases Gargoyle Computers from all associated liabilities. 

Disclaimer: If a computer fails to be repairable through remote connection, Gargoyle Computers accepts no liability for the computer.  Emergency service will be available through remote connection within twenty four hours of initial contact.  Gargoyle Computers will provide customers on the Silver Level Plan a copy of the computer image as well as backup data in case restoration is required.   Gargoyle technicians will assist customers in the most efficient manner possible, but accepts no liability for computer malfunctions. 

Note: if the customer has a legal operating system restore disc (otherwise one will need to be purchased), Gargoyle technicians will assist the customer to restore their computers through phone instruction, remote assistance, or onsite service whichever is the most efficient at the time. 

Gargoyle Computers agrees to release the customer from cross infection of the company’s monitoring system as a result of monitoring or servicing the customer’s computers.

Gargoyle Computers agrees to insure the privacy of each customer and hold their computer data as confidential.   Such information as required to perform service obligations will include the customer’s name, address, phone number, email address, IP address, critical passwords, and such credit or payment information as required.  This information will be treated with upmost respect in keeping with the established and attached privacy policy of the company.

Disclaimer:  No refunds will be made under any conditions except failure of Gargoyle Computers to perform their agreed services. Following the initial contract period of three months, the contract will continue in force until cancelled by either party by a thirty day written notice.   If the contract should be cancelled mid month, there shall be no refunds on fees paid.  

Payment of fees may be made by check to Gargoyle Computers  502 San Gabriel Blvd. Georgetown, Tx. or through PayPal.   Payments are due on the anniversary date of subscription enrollment.

Warranties:  Gargoyle Computers shall perform agreed monitoring and services included in the customer service plan in a timely manner and will email a session report to the customer following each service session. 


Explanation Of Service Plan:


The following service plan is intended to provide the customer with secure virus and spyware free operations. Gargoyle Computers provides the following services to prevent computer operating problems and insure optimum IT solutions.

BRONZE LEVEL OPTIMUM IT SOLUTIONS

Services Include:
Remote computer monitoring.
Computer scans.
Identification of infections.
Removal of viruses, Trojan Horse Viruses,
adware, spyware, and malware infections.
Remote repair of the computer operating system.
Fixing Registry. Clean infected files.
Correct operating system errors.
Computer maintenance is performed to maintain peak performance.
Unlimited Technical Support by email.
Emergency Availability For Remote Service Within 24 Hours.


Under the Bronze Level plan, Gargoyle identifies problems, repairs, and prevents new problems. Thereby the customer can use their computer with greater confidence and less frustration.

If a question arises, Gargoyle provides Bronze Level customers Unlimited Technical Support through its active email support system. Should an emergency arise, Gargoyle Computers is available to quickly resolve the situation through remote connection.

In Case of Emergency or Service apart from the Bronze Level Plan
the customer receives a discounted service rate of $50 per hour.
This is a $25 per hour savings over open on no contract plan.

If a computer requires restoration or rebuilding prior to set up for monitored maintenance, this service requires a 2 hour minimum.
